he 9A4 is a very powerful ECU for its cost and has the same map designs as the more Advanced ECU in the MBE Range it has 16-bit Fuel & ignition maps for ultra-fine adjustment. They also have 16 load sites and 64 speed sites which are movable to allow ultra-fine tuning especially useful for engines that are highly tuned and can have very fussy requirements.
 
This ECU is designed for sequential fuelling on engines up to 4 cylinders (high impedance injectors). It can run Wasted Spark or Coil on plug engines up to 4 cylinders. It is generally designed to allow the user to optimize the fuel & ignition settings to get the best out of an engine. It uses USB communication from your laptop, which is then converted into CAN by a small piece of hardware (MBE985), which is a more stable system, used by car manufacturers worldwide.
