Lazer Lamps Carbon-6 LED Light/Lamp
 
The Carbon-6, upgraded in 2019, and available with: ‘Intensity’, 'Spot', or ‘Drive’ beam options, is the ultimate driving light for rally and track motorsports. At just 30cm wide, and thanks to a housing made of carbon fibre, the lamp weighs just 420g, but the lighting performance is staggering, with 1 lux extending out over 808m (Intensity optic).
 
All variants of the Carbon-6 combine ultra-reflective vacuum-metallised boost optics, with high intensity LEDs to deliver an incredible amount of light. Upgraded for 2019, modified optics combine with the most efficient, high intensity LEDs, to deliver a more finely tuned light distribution, more closely aligned to the specific requirements of top-level rally and track motorsport. Inverted optics compared to the outgoing variants provide for improved lighting performance in fog or heavy rain conditions.
 
Utilising the very latest component technologies aside, continued testing and verification of the lights at the very highest levels of professional motorsport provides further guarantees in regards their performance and build quality. LEDs are carefully selected to provide maximum definition and sharpness, while the unique design of both the housing and internal electronics, which includes rear facing LEDs, provides greater light utilisation, reduced scatter, and better vertical distribution of light beneficial during heavy braking and acceleration.
 
Despite the hugely impressive lighting performance, it is through ground-breaking advances in material design and engineering that the Carbon Series really stands apart from all other lighting solutions. A full carbon-fibre housing provides for an ultra-lightweight construction, and a power/weight ratio never seen before in automotive lighting. While extremely durable, Carbon Fibre doesn’t benefit from the same high conductivity of traditional aluminium LED lamps, in this regards particular care has been taken to optimise the heatsink on the underside of the lamp to maximise heat dissipation while keeping weight down and drag coefficient low.
 
The Carbon-6 is supplied with a pair of 3mm folded aluminium side brackets, and comes pre-wired with a Deutsch male/female connector..
